◊ Steve Huntington

Steve Huntington was the Managing Partner of the Northern Rockies Venture Fund, the only successful venture capital company ever located in Montana. The Fund completed its investment life in 2007, after having achieved a return of over 18 percent for its investors and guiding a variety of early stage companies in Montana and the western U.S. During the 1990's, Mr. Huntington served as Vice President of Finance for MSE, Inc., a significant engineering technology firm located in Butte. He held senior management positions with the Montana Department of Commerce during the 1980's, including a term as Executive Director of the State's venture capital investment agency, the Montana Science and Technology Alliance. His policy case study entitled, "Science, Technology, and Economic Development in Montana" was published by the New York Academy of Sciences. Mr. Huntington is a native of Butte, graduating from Butte High School in 1974. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Montana.
