Ellen, the president and others◊ Friends of The Butte-Silver Bow Archives

The Friends of the Butte Archives a non-profit organization established in 1999. The Friends of the Archives is an educational charitable organization whose purpose is to assist the Butte-Silver Bow Public Archives meet their mission. The Friends of the Butte Archives raises funds through the sale of publications, accepting memorials and other donations and sponsoring events.

While the Archives receive basic support from the Butte-Silver Bow county budget, it also relies on the support of the community to accomplish its mission and expand its work.

The Friends of the Archives accepts gifts and memorials and handles acknowledgements to family members.

The Friends of the Butte Archives Board of Directors are: James Dorr Johnson, Jim Michelotti, Kathy Morris, Tom Mulcahy, Scott Juskiewicz, Meg Sharp, and Ann St. Clair, Chair.
